We incubate and support initiatives that ease access to affordable health care.

UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE

Universal Health Coverage (UHC) refers to a global health system that ensures all individuals have access to quality healthcare services without having to endure financial destitution.UHC has two fundamental goals: optimizing the impact of healthcare services, and eradicating financial crisis, impoverishment or bankruptcy that may arise from high healthcare costs and it aims at ensuring the realization of access to affordable healthcare.
It is against this back drop that Febwell Foundation aims to compliment government initiative through ensuring the progressive realization of the UHC and access to affordable healthcare services through:

• Supporting the national government in the prioritization of national and county primary health care investments, and in the development and passage of national policies and guidelines that enable the delivery of health services that reflect community needs.
• Partner with government through the Ministry of Health todesign an approach that provides real-time analytics/data on the available health services/ intervention coordination more effective and efficient.
• Supporting community-led services through providing easier access to products and services
• Partner with the National Health Insurance Fund and support them to run an advocacy campaign on their packages to increase uptake especially from persons in the informal sector.
• Training of community health workers and ensuring their continuous professional developments to ensure they provide quality services
• Building the capacity of devolved governments on planning, prioritizing and budgeting to increase the allocation of funds for health service delivery,
