Access to Quality Education

Lack of access to quality education can undermine people’s potential to have successful futures.

ACCESS TO QUALITY EDUCATION

  1. Considering the mutual benefit of increased cooperation in access to quality education for learners in Kenya in line with the aspirations of SDG 4;
  2. Recognising that many learners have suffered from limited access to quality education as a result of factors occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic alongside other related socio-economic considerations; and
  3. Taking into consideration the existing policy solutions that have been developed, approved and adopted to ensure access to quality education for all.
  4. The Febwell Foundation supports sustainable education in the following priority areas:
    1. Access to education for Out of School Children;
    2. Gender equality and inclusion;
    3. Quality and Efficient delivery to education;
    4. Youth skills and employment;
    5. Parental engagement / community resilience and sustainability;
    6. Digital learning and inclusion;
    7. Competency Based Curriculum Development and Assessment;
    8. Academic and Applied Research in partnership with academic institutions and key stakeholders; and
