ACCESS TO QUALITY EDUCATION
- Considering the mutual benefit of increased cooperation in access to quality education for learners in Kenya in line with the aspirations of SDG 4;
- Recognising that many learners have suffered from limited access to quality education as a result of factors occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic alongside other related socio-economic considerations; and
- Taking into consideration the existing policy solutions that have been developed, approved and adopted to ensure access to quality education for all.
- The Febwell Foundation supports sustainable education in the following priority areas:
- Access to education for Out of School Children;
- Gender equality and inclusion;
- Quality and Efficient delivery to education;
- Youth skills and employment;
- Parental engagement / community resilience and sustainability;
- Digital learning and inclusion;
- Competency Based Curriculum Development and Assessment;
- Academic and Applied Research in partnership with academic institutions and key stakeholders; and
- Capacity building of teachers, trainers and managers across the entire education spectrum.
